Each bidder shall submit with the bid, a cashier’s check or bid bond, made payable to Buffalo Hanover Montrose Area Schools, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of its bid.

All vendors entering into a contract with the District for $10,000 or more are to provide a Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract. Bonds must be furnished within 10 days of notice of award of the Contract. Contract is subject to compliance with the applicable Schedule of Prevailing Wage issued by the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry.  Provide all State required Responsible Contractor Forms with your bid.

There will be a pre-bid meeting and walk through on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Tatanka Elementary School.

Notice of Crawford Lake Open Water

The aeration system on Crawford Lake (86-0046) located in Rockford Township, Wright County, MN south of the city of Buffalo, will create open water in several places. Fishermen, skiers, hikers, and others are warned to stay clear of marked areas!  Weather conditions may cause the areas of thin ice and open water to fluctuate greatly. Vehicles, including snowmobiles and ATVs should stay off the lake entirely when the aeration system is operational.  The aerators, which may be in operation throughout the remainder of the winter, are designed to prevent fish kills.

EXTREME CAUTION should be used while using this lake for the remainder of the winter.  A warning sign warning of “Open Water and Thin Ice” will be posted at the Public Access. Additionally, thin ice signs will mark the area where the aerators create open water.
