Happy Easter to all!

Easter is this Sunday, April 17, and I hope you all have a wonderful day. Spring is finally here, although the weather has been all over the place so far, it has been nice to get some sunshine.

Easter may be one of the most underrated holidays. I personally love it. All the pretty pastel colors, painting eggs when you were a kid, Easter baskets, all the cool Easter candy (besides Peeps, those are gross).

It’s also a wonderful time to celebrate with family. Easter is a very joyous time because we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!

If you do not celebrate Easter, I hope you still get to spend time with loved ones this weekend and do something you enjoy.

I also wanted to share some fun Easter activities and traditions that I have enjoyed over the years, or new traditions I may try this year:

•Decorate Easter eggs

•Gather for brunch or dinner

•Go to church for Easter service

•Easter egg hunt

•Egg toss

•Plant an Easter Garden

•Dress up in a new outfit

I recently learned that having new clothes for Easter is a European custom and has made its way to the United States. I typically have a new outfit for Easter but had no idea it was a custom or tradition anywhere.

Ryan and I decided our new tradition on Easter, is to wear the same color top to match each Easter. We have accidentally matched a few times at recent holidays, so we decided we will match each Easter. Someday, when we have kids, we will have them match with us as well. Just something small to bring us together.

I hope everyone enjoys their Easter weekend celebrating your cherished traditions, or trying out new ones.
