Rain doesn’t stop the fun at County Fair on Saturday

This year, the Wright County Fair in Howard Lake saw some rain and lightning on Saturday, July 23. Despite the stormy weather, people still showed up to enjoy the fair festivities with their umbrellas and raincoats. The fair was a little less busy than usual, but still enjoyed by many on Saturday.

Many events continued throughout the rain. Several visitors huddled under event tents or buildings at the fair grounds to stay out of the rain.

The weather was clear and sunny throughout the rest of the fair, which ran from Wednesday, June 20 to Sunday, June 24.

There was fun to be had by people of all ages at the Wright County Fair. Each night hosted a different event at the Grandstand for a variety of entertainment. There were live bands, carnival rides, a job fair, and more.

With so much to see and do, many people spent hours, or even multiple days at the fair this year. A variety of food, snacks, and desserts were enjoyed by fairgoers, and the beer tent was popular among adults.

People from all around Wright County and beyond joined in on the fun, excitement, and variety of entertainment.
