Wright County Area Fishing & Hunting Report for 1/1/21

Anglers are walking on some areas and using ATVs on others, and ice depths continue to vary from 2-10 inches. Please use caution when venturing out on the ice.

Walleyes are being caught on Clearwater, Big Swan Lake, and Buffalo Lake during low-light periods in 16-24 ft. You can find sunfish and northern pike on Lake Marie, John, Pleasant Lake, Granite Lake, Maple, and Clearwater in 10-20 ft. On Lake Francis, Lake John, Clearwater Lake, and Little Maple Lake, crappies are being caught during the evening hours in 15-30 ft.
