Herb and Sharon met at the Meal-In-A-Bun drive-in restaurant in St. Louis Park, MN, in 1955, where Sharon was employed as a carhop. Herb knew immediately that he was going to marry her someday. He was right, and after a few years of courting, Herb and Sharon were blissfully married for nearly 64 years. Together, they raised five children in their Hopkins home, where they kept a meticulous lawn and garden. They were devout Catholics and members of St. Joseph’s parish, where they attended mass together regularly for over 60 years. They enjoyed traveling, especially camping trips with their children. They were an exceptionally devoted couple and set a wonderful example of life and love.
