Tip: Time to fence against critters

Fence shrubs and young trees now to protect them from animal browsing. Mice, voles, rabbits and deer all like to nibble and gnaw on the thin bark of shrubs like blueberry, viburnum, Euonymus, maple, birch, and others during the cold winter months when food is scarce.
