Fire, ice and Minnesota nice in Delano

The Delano Ice Palace has been a popular winter destination in Wright County. The Ice Palace at Fountain Hill Winery (731 County Road 30 SE, Delano) came to Delano this year. The newest addition to winter tradition in the area has been receiving a lot of foot traffic (but be careful, don’t slip). The Youngstrom family, from Idaho, created the Ice Palace.

In addition to touring the illuminated Ice Palace, visitors can also enjoy food from local food trucks, sledding for kids, and fire shows performed by Insphyre Performance.

The fire shows have captured the audience of those who have attended the Ice Palace. Professional performers juggle and dance gracefully with fire. There are fire shows each night at the Ice Palace.

There are many photo opportunities, including photo ops with some winter themed characters such as Elsa from the movie “Frozen.”

The Ice Palace is open Tuesday through Saturday each week. Adult tickets are $18 for weekdays, $23 during weekends. Tickets for children aged 4-11 are $11 for weekdays, $15 during weekends. The Ice Palace is open now until March 4. For more information visit: https://www.theice palacefhw.com/.
