As of Tuesday morning, anglers were finding 4 inches of ice on the spots they've been checking - mainly small bodies of water, bays, and wind-protected lakes. The good news is that the lakes were ice-free during last weekend's snow event. With the exception of a few spots on some of the larger lakes, everything's again covered with a thin layer of ice early this week.
